Cels (also known as “笑死”), a Taiwanese artist, began his creative journey in graffiti culture, extending the street context through diverse media such as body painting, 3D printing, and kinetic installations. In recent years, he has increasingly incorporated concepts from traditional Chinese medicine—particularly its understanding of “Qi”—into his work, regarding it as an energetic trajectory between culture and perception. His practice explores the interrelationship between energy, space, and the body, positioning his art at the intersection of street culture and contemporary art, and seeking connections and transformations between the two through personal experience.
